Lopez Salas Architects provided architectural and interior design renovations of an existing 115,000 square foot building. The project involves the repair/renovation of the 3rd floor to provide an instructional wing for JIEDDO offices.

The new offices will house 50 personnel to be relocated from building 955 and provide official spaces to conduct the Joint IED Research Program. Renovations of approximately 4,000 square feet of space include replacement of light fixtures, carpeting, furring around room walls, providing finishes, HVAC upgrades, replacing hallway finishes feeding into rooms, renovations of two bathrooms, and installation of communication line drops.
